Languages

Common
The most established language in the known universe. It is complicated mixture of human English, Elvish and Zelese, along with very faint touches of imperial.
Dwarvish
The language spoken primarily by dwarves, giants and halflings. It is a gutteral and highly structured language. Dwarves take great care in keeping their language unchanged and true to its roots. In fact, dwarf clans that have reemerged from centuries in isolation have remarked at their success in doing this. However, great care has also been taken in keeping most of their written language a secret. It is supposed that the reasoning is to maintain a higher level of privacy. Many clans have their own variations of their runic alphabet to keep outsiders from being able to read it. This would make sense due to the dwarves typical personalities.
Draconic
The language spoken primarily by dragons, Dragonkin and various ancient tribes. It is widely considered to be one of the oldest, if not the oldest, language alongside demonic and divine. It is often said by the dragonkin that the language was passed to them by the astral dragon itself. Dragonkin try very hard at conserving their ancient language, as they believe it embodies passion and power. They still consider it should only be spoken in a loud booming voice or roar, which most other species cannot produce well.
Demonic
Demonic is one of the oldest languages still known to be spoken and has been adopted by demonpact clans, nosferatu and revenants. It is a wildly chaotic, harsh and unpleasant language to those not used to hearing it. Many describe demonic text as a mix of ancient symbols modified by seemingly chaotic slashing lines. Those who are not born with it often cannot decipher the written language, even after decades of study. The spoken language is nearly as complicated, as each demon lord or god often has a different dialect from their own realm.
Elvish
Elvish is an older, sophisticated language primarily spoken by elves, fasarsans, and ramalacs. Though it is also spoke on many other worlds and is the second most commonly spoken language, behind common. Its written spoken form are both renowned for their elegance and immense vocabulary.
Ramalaci
Ramalaci is the native tongue of the Ramalac and was later adopted by some other species, notably the Panigrex, during their missionary efforts. The language is not so much spoken as sung, as it is musical in nature. Meaning can change with differences in pitch and tone. It is considered by many to be the most pleasant and elegant language to be heard. This language is also known to carry well over long distances and underwater.
Imperial
This language gains its name from its place of origin, the Vulk empire. It was developed as a common language amongst the Vulk, Varanid, Dravé and others who served under the Vulk Hierarch. Now that empire has ended, but Dravé still use this language among their new empire. This language was almost once, and may still end up being later, the one common language of known civilized species.
Orcish
Orcish is the language favored by Orcs and Grukks. It is a far simpler and more harsh language than common. It relies on repetition and volume for emphasis rather than a large vocabulary. While crude, its ease of use has made it a valuable intermediary language amongst some tribes and peoples who reside near Orc settlements.
Zelese
Zelese is the language favored by the Zelford, Taoto and Meek. Due to the generally peaceful nature of the zelford worlds, interplanetary trade is often done there, and thus the language has been adopted. It is a rich, elegant and fluid language, full of local slang and words amongst each different tribe.
