Species Abilities

Take these automatically.
Four-armed: You have an extra set of arms. You may double the normal amount of weapons or items that you normally would be able to carry and use without penalty. Gain advantages to grapples and climbing rolls.
Clingclaws: You have strong retractable claws that can pierce and grip softer materials such as wood, fabrics and plastics. When gripping these materials you can climb them at any angle, even upside-down, without penalty. If you are four-armed, you may free up to two while maintaining this grip. If someone escapes a grapple with you, they take 1d4 slashing damage.
Claws & Jaws: Add your melee skill in damage to unarmed attacks using any of these body parts and change the damage type to slashing or piercing.

Multi-tasker (Optional Passive action: Cost: 2 stamina; Once per round) You may perform an extra primary action this turn with disadvantage to rolls made during this action.
Improved Clingclaws You undertake the surgery to replace your clingclaws with copies made of a more durable metal alloy. This allows you to grip and climb any surface. It also adds x1/2 bleedout when you inflict unarmed strike damage to a victim.
Acrobatics Gain advantage when rolling to avoid being knocked prone. Gain advantage when rolling for balance or acrobatics. You always gain extra effort to jumping, without spending stamina, but you may also take an additional action of extra effort.

Physiology

Body Description
Melians are four-armed humanoids that are often compared to the fossa, or a mongoose/feline hybrid. They have long tails that help them keep balance and are covered in silky velvet-like fur that is watertight. Their furs come in many colors and patterns, mostly dependent on their breeding, but is most commonly a brown or reddish brown. They are proficient climbers and hunters due to their multiple arms, sharp retractable claws and impressive agility and speed.
